Jesse leaving WMMS

Jesse who does the rock report during the week and is on the air during weekends (including native noise on Sunday nights) is leaving WMMS for Sirius Satellite Radio in New York. This Sunday is his last night, he starts his new job March 1. I'd like to congratulate and wish Jesse good luck on his new job.<P ID="signature">______________

Is this the same Jesse who does production for MMS and TAM as well?

Yes, same Jesse. Jesse is a great rising talent. I remember when he did promotions for WMJI. In addition to CC Cleveland production, Jesse does freelance VO for video games, local spots and improv work.

I had Jesse voice some stuff for WRDU/Raleigh when I was there. Tried to hook him up with some Vtrac'ing. Never worked out.

Jesse will be joining former WMMS/WMVX/WMJI Creative Director Mitch Todd (who was my boss as well). Mitch, aka "Uncle Buck" or "Buddha", left CC Cleveland late summer 2000 to be Creative Director for the Sirius rock channels. I believe he's since been promoted to Director of Creative for ALL of Sirius. Mitch was recently profiled in a four page spread in Radio & Production Magazine (RAP).

Former WAKS Imaging Director AJ (a Mitch intern at WKRK/Detroit) is also with Mitch @ Sirius. AJ took my place at WMMS/WAKS/WMVX.

Former WAKS/WMMS Imaging Director Jonathan Brown-Tea is also in NYC as a freelance VO (A&E Biography, Best Buy tv, locally Jared Jewelers radio). Jonathan left CC/Tower City June 2000 to work for Bill Young Productions. Later went on to do freelance.

Through all my years of being in Cleveland, I've never really looked at this board except for a couple times...but I've heard tale...and know that most people get bad-mouthed pretty good!!! LOL!

I just wanna say thank you to those who wish me well...and thanks for taking it easy on me! It's nice to see your name listed on here...and GOOD things said! :eek:)

Those who I've met and will miss me - I will miss you as well! Cleveland is FULL of great talents...just listen to another market for 5 minutes (i.e. Valentine...the BEST in LA?!?!? ugh!!! Oops! I didn't say that...trying to be nice!!!!)

Dude, congrats and good luck in NYC!!! I own a Siruis radio because of Howard, and look forward to hearing your work. Say hi to AJ and Mitch for me! I think the last time I saw AJ was at my wedding 4 years ago! Hell, last time I saw you was at that Buzzard Tough Man Boxing event in 2001 before I left for Rochester. Where does the time go?! I heard some of your show on Sunday... must be some condo you had! lol How many people ended up calling in offering to buy it?<P ID="signature">______________
