Jessica Simpson "A Public Affair"

It's already a hit song, and it's one of the fastest-growing hit songs of 2006 thus far.

I like it. It reminds me of early-1990s pop-dance music. Some say it reminds them of Madonna's "Holiday". I say it reminds me of Cathy Dennis.

HORRIBLE record.

I liked it when I heard it the first time. It was called "Holiday" and it was by some wild child British wannabe chick named Madonna, or something like that.
 
Boooooooooooooooooooooring. Rather listen to a lobster scream as he is being dropped into boiling water.
 
I think most of you are giving the song a bad rap. I tend to agree witth The Major... it has a late 80's/early 90's dance feel to it... and we all know the 80's sound is big right now. Give it a chance. Whether you personally like the song or not, it's doing well, and it will probably go on to do even better than it is now.
 
I didn't like it when I first heard it. However I have changed my mind and actually like the sound. Its good to hear songs with dance beats making it.
 
Late 80's early 90's feel huh? Thats great and all but this is 2006.
 
Listen to the other songs out there, Girl. A lot of tracks out there right now have the same feel... because listeners are loving it! You may not like that, but it's a fact you can't just sit back and ignore.
 
Good pop record, perfect to break up the bullsh*t of all these hip hop songs under 80BPM.
 
When I saw the song title, I first thought it was a song about Maury Povich :D! Personally, I don't care much for Jessica Simpson since she got a divorce.
 
Random thoughts about the song...

I've heard you can download a "customized" version of the song, where she apparently sings a name of your choice in place of "baby."

And is it just me, or is anyone else hearing her sing "all the camels comin' out for a public affair?"

I didn't know those camels could party. ;D
