Star and Buck wild are also gone from what i'm reading, I'm hearing more people will be coming off that site soon. looks like only full timers sticking around are ones that have no where else to go.

No argument there my friend. But what ever is going on can't be good, think what you may about Star & Buc Wild but the fact is that they are major talent not just any old morning show, Jewels Lopez is a good talent too now both exit not that they were let go but from what i'm understanding chose to leave that can't be something minor.

As a fan of the station, I always believed that Star and Buc Wild, as talented as they have been in their past endeavors, have never really quite fit with the rest of the programming on Pulse. They have made a name for themselves by being very controversial and involved in the Urban culture, the opposite of Pulse's appeal. This is probably why the show never sounded like the original "Star and Buc Wild Morning Show". A "Hater" without the hate, is like a sailor without a ship. There may be more to this story then meets the eye.

On a side note, Pulse seemed to do very well in the ratings, considering their lack of advertising. This should be good news for them with the advertisers.

Can someone fill me in on what happened with Jewels?

She posted up on her MySpace on Tuesday (which has since been removed) that she will be on the air from 10AM to 3PM on 92.5 Maxima, a Spanish language station in Tampa, Florida. My understanding is that she left Pulse (her last day on the air was Thursday night.)
 
unconfirmed, but reliable source has Aleksandr Shvarts aka Russian P-diddy in meetings with Shelly Wade whom was recently bumped for Ryan Seacrest.
 
I have been watching these boards and paying attention to Pulse.. I am just amazed that people know so much about so little....I am sure Pulse has a big surprise tomorrow. About who will or not be on the air. Also, did anyone read the daily news yesterday page 10. it stated that Pulse Terminated the Star morning show.

Jewelz last day was Thursday.

She will now be doing the 10AM to 3PM shift at 92.5 Maxima, a Spanish station in Tampa, Florida. I knew about this on Tuesday, when she posted this on her MySpace (since removed).

I keep up David ;) And I'm still a regular folk Andrea! ;)
 
So Tony, what's the deal??? What was the big announcement?? Did you hear anything about it last night at Plumm? Yesterday seemed pretty anti-climatic, lol... ah well....

1. The only thing I got out of it was that Star would do something come January regarding hip-hop, because he (quoting from Star) "really loves hip-hop!" :D As for the station itself, pjc1961 hit the head on the nail about 87 minutes of commercial free music.

2. My guess (and that's what it is) is that Jewelz will be voicetracking from here.
