Jill 92.5?

I was listening to 92.5 this afternoon and I heard, and I'm paraphrasing, an ad that said "A little bit of everything. Coming this weekend to this 92.5 frequency."

Another commecial said, "What is coming to 92.5 this weekend? Do you know Jill?"

This makes me think that 92.5 will switch over to the Jack format this weekend. Any other ideas?

There is a "Jill-FM" simulcast on several weak (Class A) FMs in SoCal. It's an AC version of "Jack" that is consulted by George Johns, a longtime AC consultant. He created the "Class" or "Classy" AC formula that was heard in a lot of markets in the '80s.

92.5 may be going that route.

Or, it may just be adding a "we play whatever weekend" aspect to its format, which seems somewhat more likely from this corner.

I'd tend to agree. CC is trying to market KGBY fairly aggressively; no point in blowing it up just yet.

It makes sense. Star 101.3 in SF (it's CC sister) does the same thing.
