Jill Kelly off of Moby

Jill Kelly former news director at Kicks, who went to Moby's syndaicted radio show is gone, she has been replaced by someone named Max Morgan.

Max Morgan huh. Used to love that show when they did middays on the Fan. That Max Howell is a real a real cut-up.

Didn't Moby eventually hire a lot of the people he worked with over at Kicks? Who all is still with him and, by the way, how did Rhubarb do when he filled in for Moby recently. I haven't talked with one person who heard him.

From what I read here, Rhubarb was going to do some kinda new show for the "Moby network" or something, if not be a regular fill-in.

If the pattern of Moby hiring old radio colleagues holds true, I'm not sure how Max Morgan fits into that theory. She's a lifelong Philadelphian, who was most recently heard as a sub for TOH news on news/talk blowtorch WPHT. Quite a career twist, indeed.

I'm sure the parting with Jill was amicable. Although maybe I'm reading a little too much into it, but one day last week, when Moby was playing clips of different callers during the daily "Wake-Up Song" routine, I heard a clip of Jill singing a part of the song, and from what I remember, the immediate reaction of the hosts was a little sarcastic.

Moby just announced on the air that Rhubarb is once again going to guest host the morning show on Friday, June 26.

yes Moby has hired several former Kicks employees,Neil McGinnley who was programing director at Kicks was with him when he first started, now Ron Michales who was his producer is now his sidekick,Blue who now does over nights on Kicks works with him,Dene Hollaman who was opperations manger at Kicks and Eagle works with him too. Rhubarb did well the last time he filled in for Moby.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that that overnight shift is voicetracked.
