Jill Quale out at WJBR?

Not in the listening area anymore, but saw that Brian DeMay posted a job on All Access for a morning co-host. I guess the old guard in Delaware is changing...

Her name is off the WJBR website, so I assume she's out. Although she was brought in to team with Michael, I'm surprised they got rid of the most popular smoker's voice in Delaware, given her "popularity".

I'm guessing that her voice hasn't recovered since the time since I last heard her. And even then, it not only sounded choked by the smoke, but she also sounded like she was shaking and quivering...

I've always wondered about her voice! When I first heard her reading the news, my first time ever hearing her, I was wondering if the story was really THAT sad that she was sharing because her voice sounds like she's perpetually about to cry.

Yes, Jill was dismissed on Jan, 24.

Early on during her time at WJBR, and previously at WSTW, Jill had a very good voice. In the last two years, though, she went downhill, apparently due to the smoking. I know that management @ WJBR, incuding their late general manager, Jane, gave Jill LOTS of time (like a YEAR) to seek medical help and see what she could do to improve, but no real improvement came. Sadly, she sounded like Katherine Hepburn most of the time.
