Between 2:15 and 2:30 I heard Jim Dallas talking baseball and Britney Spears and telling a caller there was nothing wrong with this. Wonder whats up.
 
It's a hostage tape

Dallas is telegraphing to the audience that ch-ch-changes are a-coming.

Why do I say this? Seen it before...

I remember in the mid-80's, a talk station in Florida was trying to reorient its content from retirees toward a younger demo. All of a sudden, the sixtysomething talk show host, favorite of the blue rinse set, starts talking about movies. Made no sense. He was canned shortly thereafter. The end is near, folks...
