Jim Donovan Status? and possible replacements?

FM 100 Means Music

Hey guys, what's the latest on Jim Donovan's health, and who do the Browns have lined-up as possible fill-ins in case Jim can't make the pre-season debut against the Packers?
 
Haven't heard any updates, but I'm going by the theory "no news is good news".

For preseason games, Donovan usually does the TV broadcast with Bernie Kosar on channel 3, and Mike Snyder does the radio PBP with Doug Dieken.

If JD isn't avalible for the preseason games, WKYC could use Al Pawlowski to fill in.

Pawlowski does high school football on STO, so pigskin isn't a foreign concept for him.

If God forbid JD has to miss any regular season games, then Snyder would probaly stay on as PBP voice and Bob Frantz would handle the pregame/halftime/postgame shows with Mike Pagel (which is what they do during preseason games anyway when Donovan does TV).
