It is now more than official - you'll hear the voice of Jim Donovan coming out of your radio as the Cleveland Browns play the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
First was a note from WTAM's website, where Tom Moore quoted Donovan's radio partner Doug Dieken, saying that Donovan had told WTAM sports director Mike Snyder (his radio sub during pre-season games) that he would be back on opening day.
Then, Twitter chatter on Monday placed Donovan at Browns camp in Berea, preparing for the week's broadcast.
We've been over all that on the blog, but here's a link to an excellent article about Jim's return and situation by Lake County News-Herald veteran sportswriter Bob Finnan:

It sounds like Jim is doing very well, post-transplant, and even plans to return to the Channel 3 sports desk at 6 and 7 PM starting Monday...
