Jim Jones VS Ne-Yo

I don't normally post on this particular board, but I did hear about this the other day. It's just another second-tier (or third-tier, however you feel) rapper trying to make a name for himself, in the case of Jim Jones. I'm 28 years old, and I've been listening to rap/hip-hop ever since I can remember, and I'm especially a fan of the late 80s/early to mid 90s stuff. Beefs and battles in hip-hop have been around forever, at least in the early days, that stuff stayed off the streets...that of course was before Tupac and B.I.G. made their beef personal and public, and has had a somewhat domino effect on the rest of hip-hop. These beefs nowadays are so damn meaningless, it's not even funny. You got this clown Soulja Boy going after legends, first Ice-T, and most recently Nas...Soulja Clown wishes he had a fraction of the success that either T or Nas has achieved.

I'm not a fan of Ne-Yo, I know he's a successful singer and even more successful songwriter, while Jim Jones will become another one-hit wonder people will forget about soon.
