Jim King "The Kingbird"

Years ago.....87-88, I did 7-midnight on WUSJ-FM (US-99) in Johnson City, TN. My morning man/PD was a guy originally from that area named Jim King...called himself "The Kingbird" He had worked somewhere in Florida before he came back to east Tennessee, but he left and went back to a station, I think, in Daytona called Froggy.

Anybody remember this guy and might know of his whereabouts now? I'm assuming that he is probably retired by now, but he popped into my head last night and was just wondering.

He still does voiceovers on TV for a couple of accounts and is one of the nicest men I have known in radio.
