2MANYHATS

Guest
Its official...Jim Price posted on Rockpage.net ..Starting this Sunday night...The "Home Grown" rocker will premiere on Rocky 104.9.

What is rocky 104? Didn't there used to be a Rocky McCumbee in the market? Does he own a whole radio station now? And how many hats do you have...man of too many hats? And how about Gerry Stanek or Stannek or however he's spelling it now-a-days? Has the man lost his mind???

Rocky 104.9 is Forever's rock station...it used to be the original WHPA before Logan & company bought it,made it Mix 104.9..then Magic...finally Rocky...where Tommy Edwards, formerly of WPRR(now known as Power 100.1) is the PD and morning man and Dave Bithel does the news. As for the number of hats...lets see...there's news, on -air , production, copy writing , traffic, answering phones...I won't do sales !...so I guess that makes it 6..that's too many for my scrawny neck ! I don't know what Gerry Stanek is thinking..he probably drives too many hours in his Pepsi truck...kinda like too many hours in the fry wagon.

DID I NOT PREDICT THIS WAY BACK? CHECK OUT "PROFESSOR" HEADLINE

What was Gerry Stanek thinking? How many songs have you written lately, Fryman? How many TV stations and newspapers have covered the various projects that you're working on? Just wonderin'...

Hey Fry,

So who is Denny Pompa? Oh wait, I know he is the King of Radio right? WOOOOW what a talent according to you. What a talented guy. I remember when he couldn't figure out the automation system so he just sat there from 6am to 9am with nothing on the air until the station manager came in to fix it. He just sat there! Nothing on the air. And he got paid for it. WOW, what a great talent, It must have been his allergies. Gerry Stanek's song is being picked up by G. Gordon Liddy, Laura Ingraham and Rush Limbaugh. At least he is doing something. Before you go off on someone with some talent, you may want to review what you have posted about someone with no talent. Thanks Denny!

My regrets to Jim Price and the Barnyard Rocker. To be forced to work for Rocky must be horrible. Forever Broadcasting...the best marketing tool ever for subscriber...satellite radio. When I get out of the range of Mix 94.7 I go right back to the satellite.

In response to the two idiots who responded to the Pompa and Stinnek posts: First off, Denny continues to work fulltime in the business today which is an accomplishment in itself with current market/radio conditions. During that "dead air" as you called it, Mr. Pompa was doing show prep, answering phones, and consulting with Al Gore on the internet. [EDIT]

[EDIT-inflammatory]

I guess it takes alot of show prep for 3 hours of nothing every morning. BTW to everyone else interested, Jim Price really IS one of the best local talents and I am happy that his program found a new home, even though it is on an F station. Good luck Jim.

I thought Denny Pompa was killed when the studios of WNCC in Barnesboro
collapsed into an abandoned coal mine shaft unleashing a toxic cloud of radon gas. In fact, Barnesboro failed to exist after this incident and the community of spangler claimed the land to and renamed itself Northern Cambria.

I heard that Denny Pompa was Chuck Englody's secret love-child.

One time, Chuck Englody called up and called me an a--h---.
