Jim Sykes

He is "Big Jim Sykes" on Sirius Elvis Radio.
He had them also call me recently about doing some stuff with them.
Too long a drive although the part-time pay would have been really nice.(And I play golf on Saturdays)
He also has a production business.
We're from the same little West Tennessee Town, I'm a year older and we have very similar beginnings in radio.
 
...and winter, and spring, and summer.
Henry County and the Lake....God's Country!
And I'm not even biased because I grew up there.

I'd love to go back up there to the Fish Fry sometime....last time I was there, I was marching in a high school band......gosh, that was a long time ago....After the parade, instead of going over to the carnival, I sneaked off and bought a six pack of some kind of dark beer.....I'm thinking Michelob...did they ever make a dark beer? It was so hot and I was so thirsty, I quickly slammed down a couple....mmmmmm.....were they ever good!
 
Then mark your calandar for the last weekend in April.
That Friday is ALWAYS Fish Fry Friday!
I'll go with you, and we can put the hurt on a case.
I've missed several "Fish Frys" and by next spring, I'll be due!
 
....mmmmmm......my birthday is at the end of April.......lemme think about that a little....who'd drive us back though?
