Jimmy Barron on The Regular Guys?

I was off to work late today(1st day of school for the kids) but at 8:45 I heard Jimmy Barron on The Regular Guys? He only said a few things during a Soutside Steve segment but was curious on why he was on their show today. Obviously odd for a couple of reasons. Larry has never been kind to Jimmy on air. I know Eric and Tim Andrews worked with him on the podcast before TRG version 3.0. Also odd because there he was in the building he used to work in with the people who unceremoniously let him go. One week Toucher gets a Carsonesque send-off and a couple of weeks later Jimmy Barron and Atlanta radio institution at that point goes quielty in that good morning.

Just wondering why he made an appearance this morning. Just last month he did a whole wek of shows ion the same timeslot on Dave FM.
 
Are you kidding me? You really sit around and wonder why he was on there? Who cares. Get a life.
 
Oh ok I am sure most other people who heard him on there and caught it mid-stream did not wonder the same thing?
 
I caught it and didn't care. Didn't care when he was on craptastic DaveFM, either.
 
Everyone was pretty cool with him and he was cool with everyone else. I guess he, Eric, Tim, and SSS have been friendly for a while but he and Larry hadn't spoken in about 10 years according to them. He was only on for a segment but they pretty much buried the hatchet. In fact, Larry (seeming somewhat sincere) asked him if he'd fill in for Eric on the News Jog next time Eric was out sick. It was kind of funny, though, when Larry said he wanted JB to get another gig soon so he could beat up on him again. Jimmy took it in good stride. It was a quick segment and then Steve asked him to be his lifeline on the Smelling Bee bit.
