Jimmy Fallon

Way too early to have an idea of how that would play out.

Jimmy Fallon is the worst excuse for a talk show host in the history of t.v. He'd be better served to the network as a page taking out Zucker's trash everyday. Another example of why NBC is in the toilet.

I cannot disagree with you more. I really enjoy Jimmy Fallon's show. More than Conan and way more than Jay. Jimmy actually seems to be having fun on his show and gets the guests to interact with him and have fun too. Dave, Jay, Conan.. they are all just long commercials for actors and there new projects. I don't enjoy watching interviews with celebrities, I enjoy entertainment. Jimmy is actually ENTERTAINING.

I agree with you all the way! What makes Late Night with Jimmy Fallon the best late night show is the fact that it's just a good ol' time! He goes out there and has fun with his guests and especially the audience members! The Roots are also the best house band in all of late night! Instead of doing a long monologue (like you see in every late night show) and interviews the entire show, he does a short monologue with 2 or 3 bits, a few interviews and a band peformance. It's definately something different, original and fun.
People who don't like Jimmy Fallon just don't understand that his show is a laid back hour of TV..

I'll bet most of the people who like Jimmy Fallon's show also liked:
"The Ernest Angley Hour"
"My Mother the Car"
"Joanie Loves Chachi"
"Manimal"
"Cop Rock"
"Homeboys from Outer Space"
and
"The Tick"

Jimmy Fallon must have pics of some of his NBC bosses having sex with an inflatable Gumby doll....I think he is one of the most unfunny people I have ever seen on TV.

The Tonight Show will have ceased to be a program by then so the question is moot.

Unfortunately I think you're right.

As for Fallon, I watched a clip of him from his first late-night TV appearance on Conan's show in the late '90s. He did some impersonations that were very funny. I also think he did a great job on SNL. However, even though I've only seen his talk show a few times, I just don't think he is cut out to be the host of a show.
