Jimmy Myers

The guy is something like 72 years old.... look around some Senior Center somewhere for him.

IMHO ( so I don't get sued too!)

He has been a thorn in the side of media for decades, suing Boston Magazine in 1977 for calling him the worst sportscaster in Boston, ( MYERS vs. BOSTON MAGAZINE COMPANY, INC., 380 Mass. 336 ), The whole Reggie Lewis thing, quitting his WBZ TV job while ON THE AIR in 1979, his claims of being "blacklisted", claims he was taken off WBZ-A because he insulted Cosell, who was Jewish, and his PD was Jewish and fired him for insulting a Jew.... much of the above came from this article John Molori's Media Blitz

I can only think of one other person who has set fire to so many bridges in his travels around town that nobody will hire him besides Myers.

You can be the best voice in the business with an encyclopedic knowledge of all things sports, but eventually the people who hire and fire don't want to take the risk or deal with demands, or deal with the baggage.

Who's the "one other person?"

I met him in a social setting back in the 80's and back then in the social setting he didn't come across as racist...I'm a white woman btw and he was quite the gentleman and very respectful when I knew him.
