Former WKSE PD Jimmy Steele has returned
to Clear Channel as PD of its San Diego CHR.

About as far away from Eliot Spitzer as you can get...

Let's hope he's got his "attendance" problem under control.

He called in sick , and was told not to come back...

But wait lets look into this a little further..It might also be Mr. Jimmy had plans to move a certain morning show to a certain sister station!! This suggested move did not sit so well with these two, and obviuosly sealed Jimmys fate..

If they had just promoted B. B. W. in the first place, it would have saved them alot of trouble! And the person everyone at the station wanted to have the job would have had it.. As it turns out he ended up with it anyway in a round about way...

Goodbye Jimmy (Terry Lamar) Steele and good luck bud!!

They should really ask those pesky interns to keep their mouths shut....

Pesky problems

Yeah, Jimmy allegedly needs to keep his nose out of the wrong business...

You got the "White Stuff"

Sorry, had to break out "new kids on the block"
It's not the snow that JS had issues with, so the allegations say

But an interesting angle, which local show would have the best success somewhere else? Other station or other market? Would S/R do well in T-O, formerly Humble/Fred land? Janet/Nick? Clay & the Breakfast club?

I agree with the general male angle of the Christmas scene. Males 25+ are NOT the demo for the Holidays. Last year, with no NHL, royally sucked. My wife has been playing christmas music in her car for the past week. Good thing we have two cars!

Hey Roxy carefull with assumptions.. Terry has problems but not of that magnitude..Im not trying to be my normal pesky self to you, but if you knew the problems the guy had you wouldnt say that..I never agreed with the hireing of Terry but he is a person, and as a person I like the guy.. Whoever was saying this has no class what so ever! At All!

The hire ups should have listened to the employees in the first place and this mess would have never happend!! I believe the lesson was learned, hopefully...

Re: Pesky problems

Majic, you appear to be much closer to the situation than I am. I will defer to your more intimate knowledge. I hope Jimmy/Terry gets his life together and that he gets his career back on track.

I still think that there are some interesting challenges facing Entercom with the encroachment of Kiss on Star, and the direct challenge from Jack. There are some significant decisions to be made as the Kiss Krewe "matures" out of their alleged target demo.
