Further explanation for the ID interest

1: The network's website lists 20+ full-power affiliates. More than a few are missing from said ID. Having listened to your clip (thanks) I now wonder if some have local-insert capacity.
2: Call me odd, but in an era of when most stations' real City_of_License (I know, what's that?) ID is hidden somewhere deep in the programming clock, it's a charming throwback to hear 40+ seconds of real ID at the top of the hour.
3: This poster goes back to when JS had one wheezy AM daytimer here in Baton Rouge. JSM website lists 78 current stations and translators, most of them FM.
4: When $3M+ (that's 3 Million dollars, folks) changes hands for a non-commercial, unbuilt CP, that gets my attention.

That 102.1 doesn't cover Mobile whatsoever, not even if the wind gusted 40 miles an hour on a good day.

But I find a lot of the non-comms will claim signals into a city as long as it can catch a signal anywhere in the city no matter the quality at times...

Technically the 102.1 signal can reach Mobile... Would it be something worth listening to on a constant basis.. probably not with white noise occasionally or a need for the winds to blow right ;D

As I know of stations that REC radio says I can't listen to, but I can catch but not constant.. And I think that's what's with this station.
