Jimmy T off the Kiss Website

It appears changes are in on 500 Corporate parkway as normal PM Drive Time "Jimmy T" is off the website. DJ Anthony's been doin the Kiss things during afternoons?

Anyone gotz anything on this?

Does anyone think other changes are in the works, considering the relatively active environment @ 500 Corporate (Your Time, Dennis Williams, now Jimmy T". I would think that all three music FMs wouldnt be syndicated or VT'd at night...... but thinking is overrated these days!

Nightly News

One of the FMs is likely to stay live at night just to keep the logs up to date an listen for the silence monitor. Since it won't be 102 or The Lake, that leaves it to Kiss. The AMs are almost a separate issue at Corporate Parkway.

I don't believe Jimmy T was actually let go from Kiss.

Instead, I believe the new owner of Toronto's Mix (was standard radio, now Astral Media) may have chosen to find someone younger to replace Steve Anthony for afternoon drive (at a better pay than what Kiss was offering)...isn't Mix 999 going after a younger crowd anyway?

Mad Dog and Billie are the morning team at 999, and they were the Kiss 92 morning show prior to the Toronto Jack days.

Ofcorse, I *could* be wrong, since Steve Anthony is still on the Mix 999 website:

Obviously, if Jimmy T left for a different job and Dennis Williams was never meant to be permanent (see Buffalo News), then trying to link these 2 items is nothing more than an overexaggeration of circumstances, or an attempt to creating an inaccurate impression.

I did find it rather funny that someone would refer to an "active environment" because of those changes. Aren't there 5 or 6, maybe 7 stations under 1 roof? Isn't it radio? Hardly an indication of anything but business as usual.

well, no secret, "JT" is canadian..and, mix is in toronto.
for starters, much easier for him, i would say.

Second, he has bounced around a little,
back/forth, and resurfaces at kiss, every once and again,
but his progression is always upwards.
once at z103 , and then to a US-CHR,
now, back to toronto (and its not z103)/no offense, but
it has been noted on this board, get your rookie years in,
move on to bigger and better....even though, i still find
z103, as one of the best...( best, for a listener).
