Jimmy left The Mix for probably over a year now. He's a personality, and the gig probably limited his creativity. You have very few times to talk each hour, and much of that time must be spent doing liners promoting Erik & Kathy's morning show. That would bore me after a while. After being given a lot of free rein at Energy, I know that I got spoiled. I was grateful when KISS-FM Milwaukee allowed me a lot of freedom to run.
Jimmy and I should hang out more often. (Dumb inside joke.) He's doing very well outside of radio now, though I think the radio bug continues to bite him once in a while. I hope he hasn't hung the radio shoes for good. Lots of listeners connected with him. If I had control of a CHR or dance station, he would be one of the first people I'd call to be on the air staff.

Wow is it funny how a story can be so wrong. I would never have ripped a client on the air. There are many reasons why I left that station and the good thing is that I left my way. There was never an a apology to be given since there was nothing wrong being said on the air. Those are the facts and like what was said ON THE AIR!
