Jingles Back on Star 94

I heard a jingle coming out of the stop set at :45. Yes!

Jingles will brighten the station considerably. If Star would just brighten the music by adding the urban-tinged--but not hip hop--songs that today's young adult women like, the station could see more some upward ratings movement.

I thought Star was just going to go ahead and go Hot Ac and leave the rest up to Q...

They very well might. They've had the "betwixt and between" format for a while. But the "Atlanta's Hit Music Station" seems to be gone today along with the return of jingles. What I posted above was in hopes of them leaning CHR, but I wonder whether the absence of the hit-music positioning is a hint of things to come.

With Cindy & Ray in mornings and Darik in evenings, their staff is more Hot AC than CHR. Chase and Heather would work fine for either format.
