Job opening at KFYI???

Craigs List?

Wow, that's interesting. Not only can you find a "cheap" date on Craigs List, but you can now find the next PD for KFYI as well! ::)

I think this is an excellent opportunity for every poster on this board who have had opinions about what's wrong with Talk Radio, and specifically KFYI to put their knowledge and experience to good use!

Seriously! It's a great opportunity. People on these boards show a huge passion for the medium and the format. Apply!

If I weren't under contract, I would! How many times do you have a chance to show what you can do, instead of just writing about what SHOULD HAVE been done?

I know this sounds sarcastic, but it's not.

Craigslist??? I knew they were Cheap Channel, but too cheap to even pay for a proper National search? In the job description, they left out the part about being adept at running automation, because thats the direction CC Phoenix is taking with their AM properties.

I think the good Dr. may be unable to apply for the job. Authorities in Va. are looking for the owner of an abandoned Gremlin! http://abcnews.go.com/TheLaw/story?id=4539944&page=1 :D

:D Oh no... it can't be! Does that explain the Dr.'s absence lately?

One of the readers' comments for that news story, on the subject of Gremlins, say:

"Shouldn't be hard to find as I think there is only one left on the planet."

Don't we know...

Well... do you happen to be an attorney, DangerousLoner?? (Worth a shot! ha ha)

<Suddenly feeling a little self-conscious> What in world would make you ask that, Lauren???

I have to say, if I WERE a lawyer, my practice would be limited to the State of Georgia. When I'm in the Valley, it's purely recreational. I truly love Scottsdale, and when the condo's done, your fine city will be seeing much more of me.

Cute, Loner... with tax time coming up, I'd be happy to compare returns. Let me know where you'd like to meet.

Lunch next Tuesday?

I'd prefer dinner. Mary Elaine's is closing down 4/5 and I'd like to give it one last go. Send me a message and we'll work it out.

C'mon...we're classier than that! Our's is a '76 Gremlin Levi's Special. The Nurse and I aren't interested in the KFWhyEye gig as programming local talk eight hours a day is about six hours more than we work each day! Our suggestion that TMISU buy 5~Fifty from the CCU suits makes more and more sense each day.

I am finally announcing my edorsement of Mark Jeffrey for PD. "all traffic all the time"...traffic on the 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s on and on and on.

While airing "the best of traffic" on the weekends. All of the weeks best (or worst) car crashes.

Not only will he be able to hire several unemployed yet talented phoenix radio personalities, but he will be able to work even more hours than he already does... HEY eastside/westside guys Jason Christopher and Ed Hammers want to work on the weekends don't they? That duo did a fine job announcing this year's Parada del Horse poop parade. They even calmed the crowd after a horse went crazy dropping people to the asphalt and galloping all through old town Scottsdale... and to think all the horse was looking for was the Kiva theater... where is it anyway?

Steve ::)

Ah, the Kiva Theatre.

Remember the Portofino?

Or Sombrero? El Capri? Kachina? Silver Dollar?

All those years ago...

The Nearly Bald One was talking about the Craig's List posting this morning. He and Babinski were dieing about it. It was pretty funny!

They need someone to "continue to fan the creative flame" ;D

I have seen what is worse, one of the radio stations in town has been plastering (quite illegally) posters up on traffic signs and on light poles to "get your AZ up" and listen.

I can't remember what station, I think its a hip-hop station.

The fine for posting signs illegally in Phoenix is up to $1500 per sign. And posting them on light poles in the middle of traffic islands?

Not good.

Whoever thought of that campaign should be fined and fired. Its nearly the same as grafitti.
