Salem Communications of Tampa Bay has an immediate opening for an experienced Production/Imaging Director. This person will oversee the creation and implementation of all commercial content, promotional announcements and any other audio element that must be created for broadcast or internet streaming.
The ideal candidate must be able to voice, produce and write commercial copy. He/she must also possess the ability to create, enforce and evolve the production department systems to grow more efficiently.
Qualified candidates must be proficient in Adobe/Cool Edit system and able to produce audio flawlessly for broadcast in a timely manner. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, be detail oriented and have good communication skills.
Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
* 2-5 years of production experience necessary, on-air experience preferred
* Oversee all commercial activity on WTBN, WTWD, WGUL & WLSS
* Handle multiple tasks in this fast-paced multi-station environment
* Working knowledge of Adobe Audition is mandatory
* Voice work as needed
* Work closely with national voiceover talent to image the stations
* Copywriting skills are a must
* Communicate with sales staff in a professional manner
* Produce spec spots for clients
* Heavy client contact
* On-site recording of station events for editing and broadcast
* Create audio to support donor donation programs
