I noticed that Sbs has taken out the application page from the Houston job post. Wondering if they have filled all the positions or if it's a technical error. I would think by now we would know who the PD is going to be or On air talents.

Many of those posts are done to make sure all EEO requirements are met. Airstaff and department heads are usually hired through industry contacts and based on the reputation of the talent.
Back in the 70's, I had several jobs "come to me" through broadcast-specific recruiting companies. On one, I was called while in class at ASU in Arizona. Called back the next morning and asked if I would fly in to meet the station ownership in New York for a GM position in Puerto Rico. They did not reveal the name of the owner or the call letters of the stations, either.
Then 6 years later, the same recruiter called me in Puerto Rico to offer the GM position at a Miami station. But I was told it was owned by Metroplex and that I was "first in line if I wanted it".
I don't see recruiters active in radio any more.
