Jock change at RQQ??

noticed for the last couple of weeks Lisa Lewis has been absent from her mid day gig..she leave, get fired, ?? anyone know..just curious..

I like the rotating headlines on Radio-Info at the moment: Strategically placed right before "Lisa Lewis MIA At Nashville's WRQQ" is one titled, "More Than 30 Years Later, Listeners Still Like Pina Colada". It's as if she left WJXA. ::)

Lisa isn't at RQQ anymore or probably even coming soon to JXA.

What is also upsetting about the Pina Colada article is they sadly left off the fact that on May 25 of this very month, a CERTAIN afternoon air personality, who quietly has been rated Nahville's #1 drive timer, will celebrate 30 years on the air in Nashville AND has indeed probably played "Escape" more times (guessing a minimum of 10,000x) than any other person on a radio station on the planet and beyond. Talk about records!!!

Way to go Sarge! Let the party now begin. Talk about real success on multiple levels.

If there's a party, certainly, it should be held at O'Malley's. ::)

Considering that Sarge hired me away from Aisle 7 at the grocery store to WKYX Paducah in 1977, he is truly living proof that one can bounce back from early mistakes and go on to legendary success...

... although I just might have been head stockboy by now... *sigh*

Bobby --- Sarge knows GREAT talent when he sees it. That's why he never looks at ME directly even when I am sitting across the table from him, helping him get his supper down (he's much, much older than we all think...that voice is VT from 1986.)

And yes...I will pay for this.

This market never sounded as good as when you were making it happen at the Q and MAk and then KX. Like you, the king of Pina Coladas is not replaceable.
