How long has Cousin Ed and Matt & Huggy been at 94? And how long have Matt Cord and Preston and Steve been in Philadelphia?

I first heard Matt Cord on WMMR in 1993. He went to Y-100 around 1998 or 1999. Preston Elliot started at WDRE around 1996. He did afternoons until they dumped the format in 1997. He moved to afternoons at Y-100 the following week. I think Matt Cord took over afternoons on Y-100 after Preston moved to mornings.I remember Cousin Ed being on Y-100 in 1997. He used to work evenings there. Hope this helps.

I think Matt & Huggy used to be John DeBella's producers/phone-ops when he was doing afternoons at 'YSP. And, Couzin Ed went from nights at Y100 to nights at 'YSP right about the time that McGuinn took over the drafty PD office (with the shaky, rotted wooden deck outside) at Y100 in Feb. 1997. If I remember correctly, if you stood near the sliding glass doors and pushed down on one particular floor board inside the office, you could see outside!

(See? A little inside reference there. Makes me look like a Real True Major Market Radio Pro (tm) :) )<P ID="signature">______________

Yeah, Couzin Ed came from DRE to Y100 to YSP. Ed along wtih Matt Cord, Jim McGuinn, Preston and so many others played musical chairs/studio shuffle it's been interesting to say the least to follow along.

By the way, did anybody ever catch Preston Eliot's appearance on Trading Spaces? It's a must see.

It was exactly that Monday in fact. Bret Hamilton took over middays, Preston took over afternoons. Leann Curtis was moved to nights and Couzin Ed and afternooner Josh were fired.

McGuinn also booted Couzin Ed's show from Philly's DRE a few months after becoming PD there.
