Jock Shifts Opening Up At Bluewater

There are going to be a couple of full time air shifts opening up at Bluewater. You're the first to know. Prefer to find someone local. Formats include Country, Hip-Hop, Hot AC.

Get John Garrett back on the air... he's good for a 5 share... an 8 if you give him a tab at a mexican restaurant.

Hey Skipper, Garrett would have been the answer to my prayers while Budell was out (is out) recovering from his surgery. He could have done both the talk show and the AM show on Alice (one of the few that could pull that off) Unfortunately, a burned bridge is a burned bridge. Not easily rebuilt.

i have my own burned bridges with folks, but alot of them i'm trying to rebuild, time after time i have submitted countless applications, and i am willing to atleast get my foot on ground level with an overnight job.

i know some are gonna start throwing up stuff likie "you're just a board op" and it's true, i was and repeat, was a board op, but everyone even the great skipper had to start off as a board op at one time or another, with many syndicated shows, board ops are actually useful.

if bluewater is interested in someone for overnights, i want to seriously get in line to apply for that job.<P ID="signature">______________

Re: john garrett's response to rick peters

John,

You know me too well...so I assume that you knew I'd take the bait. First off, I am not mean to you on the web. I stated that you are the only guy I can think of that could pull off both a talk show and a morning show (like Greg) in this market. Please take that as a compliment. It was. You are a talent and the market is the lesser for not having you on the air. Frankly, if you had respected this company when you chose to leave things might have been different. But they are not. Some bridges just cannot be rebuilt.

YOUR LOSS DUDE.

GOOD LUCK WITH THE STELLAR STAFF!

NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE.

Re: john garrett's response to rick peters

poowater turdcasting's a little too low rent for you garrett. they're better off hiring people who have failed miserably and/or running off any talent people actually care about hearing. what a strategy! boy i wish Alice would play the same songs all day and all of the night! can't get enough!
