JOCKLESS AC FORMAT

Has anyone programmed a jockless AC format?

Are there any relatively successful stations out there doing this (perhaps complementing the music with short-form features)?

WDUV in Tampa is jockless 20 hours a day and all week-ends

I could see a station getting away running without jocks in the midday and over night. Do a lineup like such:

5-10 Local Solo Morning Show
10-2 More Music Workday (Jockless)
2-7 Local PM Drive
7-12 Delilah
12-5 Jockless Music


I know of a few AC Stations like this, and it can be pulled off pretty easy.

That's not really AC. It's a format which doesn't fit any of the standard descriptions.

What really bothers me is that the site I used to go to for Arbitron ratings called it AC. At least when THAT site called a station soft AC you knew it was different. But if you're going to call a Delilah station soft AC your credibility goes out the window.

I know this not an AC station. WTTH (R&B/Soul) in Atlantic City has no local DJ's.

Up until recently Boise's LiteFm was jockless. They've since acquired a PD and morning show.
