jocks doing different formats

In an attempt to spur some debate on this sleepy board, I'd like to bring up the topic of local jocks who move to different formats in the same market. I'll give you a few examples: Dawn Michaels trying hard to sound black on MOJO, Tomcat Michaels moving from Oldies to Country, Jim Smith goes from WARM to Christian to Oldies.

Is this something that works?

Dawn isn't on MOJO

That's a part-timer who sounds eerily like Dawn, but it's not her. Unless it's some sort of voicetracking thing.

I think it's OK to move people around in a cluster, because most oridnary listeners don't notice.
Edited by Oscar on 09/04/05 07:46 PM.

Re: Dawn isn't on MOJO
