Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders movie

In January 1979, "The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders" became the highest rated motion picture in the history of television. It held that record until it was replaced by the CBS movie based on the Dallas series, "Who Shot J.R.?"

Look for Ron to have a role in the next James Bond film, "Casino Royale." Casting for that should be announced in July.

Re: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders movie

I remember back in the late 80's I was in London on vacation. We had been everywhere in London that day and I was extremely exhausted. I turned on the small TV in our less than cheap hotel room in Belgravia and look what I saw: Ron and the whole gang in that cheerleader movie. It was hoot to see it after all these years.

Anyone ever notice that the Drax character in the Bond movie Moonraker looked, on first glance, a bit like Chapman?

"Chicago Story" was NBC's (and perhaps TV's) 1st 90-minute crime drama, and did indeed star Farina. It ran for a few episodes in 1982. The second show was "Crime Story," and starred Farina as well. Chapman was on the next-to-last episode of the series (May '88) as an American locked up in a Mexican jail, and did have the line, "You an American?" You have to use the still/freeze frame/frame-by-frame to even see it was Chapman, and the best part was him ducking in terror when a Mexican jailer hurls an object at him. "Crime Story," for whatever reason, used popular DJs in non-related guest roles on their last 2 or 3 episodes. John DeBella, longtime Pittsburgh jock (and not to be confused with our late John "LA"-Bella of KZEW) piloted the plane on the series finale that crashed into the ocean and killed all the main characters. Notorious bad-guy on the show, "Ray Luca," (Anthony Denison) popped up on "The OC" just a couple of weeks ago.

Probably more info than ANYONE wanted, but that's still one of my favorite shows, ok???

No but he looks like a certain chief engineer in Dallas (who had the same facial hair until a few years ago...to get that young look...and not have to cover the grey :)

and his demeanor now is about the same too!!! (I am perfect and you are not; you shall follow me!)
