it has Buchmann doing 3-7pm.
I guess Fagreed's bonus wasn't big enough and they had
to cut yet another air talent to help fund it.

more interested in promoting himself as a personality on the station than recognizing the legacy Joe Benson has in Los Angeles.
Cost cutting or ego maniac?

Seems to be a tear in KLOS' time/space continuum - I'll have to check into that...about 9 hours ago from web
All Access is reporting a new Imaging Slug line “SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA’S BEST ROCK” .... What's next? Mainstream rock format here they come????

Jim Kerr: WPLJ
Maria Milito: WXRK
Ken Dashow: WNEW
Carol Miller: WPLJ, later WNEW
And plenty of weekenders, like ex-WNEW staffer Ian O'Malley, have worked at WNEW, WPLJ and others in the NYC metro.
I did read somewhere when he left Q 104.3 that he said something along the lines of classic rock's shelf life nearing its end in its current form. Perhaps KLOS will take a turn towards a true AOR, like heritage Metromedia/WNEW and KMET sister WMMR still does in Philadelphia.
As far as losing Benson, I don't think it would be a personal thing from Buchmann's track record. It must be either ratings or contract.
