Joe Cook on WNJC 1360 AM - Week 6

Hello again!

I did another show this morning & wanted to let you know that it's up on my website if you want to check it out:

www.joecookprogram.com

Tomorrow morning at 8am I'll be giving away that Brad Stine book I mentioned last week so good luck to anyone who entered. You still have one more day to enter if you haven't.... just send your name, age & address to:

[email protected]

You are also welcome to call into the show when I'm on live. The phone numbers are on the website.

Also...next week my guest is going to be actor Alan Young. He is best remembered as Wibur Post on Mr. Ed. He appeared in a number of movies, including the classic sci-fi drama, "The Time Machine" and provided the voice for the Disney character Scrooge McDuck on the cartoon "Ducktales". It is going to be a really fun & great show so I hope you'll all check it out!

Thanks!
Joe

Joe, you didn't say when your show airs (and the station website doesn't mention it at all).

Alan Young was also active in old time network radio as the star of three network radio sitcom series and also as a regular on two top variety shows (The Jimmy Durante Program and the Texaco Star Theater). Maybe you can get him to talk some about radio in the Golden Age, as well.

The webpage says Saturday and Sunday at 8AM. (upper right corner)

Yeah, the show is on Saturday & Sunday mornings at 8am. Alan will be on to promote a book he just released called "There's No Business Like Show Business...Was", which talks mainly about his early days in show biz. We'll definately be talking about that!

Take care,
Joe
