What a horrible way to start my morning!! I turn on Channel 12 and who is on there? None other than bias right wing pundit Joe Dana! Come on. Is this the best 12 can do? Who decided to put him on? I will not watch 12 in the morning until this idiot is gone! I don't care whose son he is I won't watch him.
 
Politics aside, Joe is marginally better than Ryan as an anchor but not by much! Perhaps they can find a "real" morning anchor. Maybe it's time for some other company to take over TEGNA. 12 News has really lost its way.
 
Joe Dana isn't qualified to carry his dad's microphone.
 
I don't have much to say about Joe Dana since I'm not an avid 12 News watcher. However, I do get up early in the AM and have seen the 12 New Mornings with Ryan Cody. He seems like a nice guy, but sounds boring as mud and I would need to quickly turn the channel fearing I would fall back asleep. Just sayin'.
 
@2Son -- I'm not sure I would fall back asleep. I would probably wake up out of sheer frustration of listening to someone who is not ready to be in a Top 15 Market.;)
 
The few times I watched Matt Yurus anchoring (I think it was on weekends), I liked him. However, part of me just liked looking at him lol. In any case, I don't think he's even with 12 News anymore because his bio was scrubbed awhile back. I appears he and Kristen Keogh split earlier this year.
 
I had forgotten about Matt. He was pretty good on the weekend mornings. When the pandemic hit, he stopped regularly anchoring on weekend mornings and was mainly a reporter.

Kristen still occasionally pops up as a substitute weather anchor on weekend evenings. She was on a couple of weekends ago and here bio is still on 12news.com.
