I got word that my friend and former co-worker Joe Demma has passed away. Joe worked at many stations, but mostly in the Dayton and Cincinnati area after stints in Washington, DC and Indiana. Among the call letters were WING/WGTZ, WBLZ then later at the same facility as WGRR, WLQT and WDOL; "Kool 95" WCLR/WZLR, and Cox Media Group. The news comes Joe's son Pete. Services and arrangements pending. I'll post when I know more.
