Joe Fisher - hats off!

Hats off to Joe Fisher and the tremendous job he's doing on the Vanderbilt baseball broadcasts on WNSR. On Sunday, he handled two 3-hour-plus games and all their drama flawlessly. Give the man his due!

I think Joe is quite capable of doing anything in this business. The 1st year Bart Gordon ran for Congress, I asked Joe and he willingly went to Murfreesboro to cover results at Gordon's hdq, even though he was our WSM sports guy. Joe did an excellent job on election night coverage for the station. Old Joe is just good at whatever he does.

I am a big UT Vol fan, but I am not anxious to get this season started just yet.

I do not think Vol fans will be happy campers in September as I predict 2 early season losses in September. @ Cal Berkley and @ Florida.

But anytime is good time to trash Vandy ;) Joe Fisher is a pro. I think another bigger school in the SEC might grab him as their play by play announcer though.
