Umm? Some of The bands I refer to as "Hippy bands" in the previous post were rock bands that were from the early to mid 70s and were highly popular with males who had long hair and smoked weed and that is why I called them "hippy bands" ....I did NOT say they played at Woodstock.

I never had long hair and I never smoked weed.... but I like those bands. Am I still considered a "hippy"?

No. They aren't really hippy bands. In fact they all are bands with top 40 hits who are loved by those who listened to top 40 radio at the time (a large percentage of the population). They are all now played on AC radio. I enjoy Journey songs.

I know of a guy who smoked pot and enjoyed listening to the classical station. Does that make Mozart a hippy?

It might.... if they both had long hair.

Mozart would sound crappy mixed with country too. maybe that could be the next big thing in radio? Magnum will for sure jump on this. Anything to ruin a good radio station.

When you think of crappy Radio think Magnum, there's a slogan for ya.

Take it easy on Magnum...they can't help it they bought radio stations that have signals that don't go anywhere. Hey, at least they are not Forever or one of their shell companies. ;D

Yeah, I googled "How NOT to run a Radio station" and also googled "How to ruin a great radio station" and all that came up in the search was old MAGNUM BROADCASTING stations (Joe Fm, The Buzz, The Surge etc) hahaha!
