Joe Harnell

Joe also had a good version of 'Cast Your Fate To The Wind'.

I read in today's paper that Joe Harnell ("Fly Me To The
> Moon Bossanova") has died from heart failure at age 80.

Hey, Brian

One of the all-time great instrumentals (although I haven't heard Joe's... only Vince Guaraldi's and Sounds Orchestral). Unusual for an instrumental after the '50s to have charted with two different versions. Shelby Flint's vocal version is pretty nice, too, but you never hear it anymore.

Steve Alaimo also released a vocal version right around the same time as the Sounds Orchestral.
