Popping in long enough to post a reality check.

The vast majority of stations that use voicetracking these days are owned by the major media companies and the voicetracked shifts are handled by existing airstaff at their stations in other markets.

The ones that aren't owned by iHeart/Audacy/etc. tend to use heritage air talent from their market who will work really, really cheap. But they aren't looking for outside voices.

I wish you luck, Joe, but I hope you are not being overly optimistic about your chances of making it as an independent voicetracker.
