Joe Morgan/John Miller split up...

They fought so much during the World Series broadcast it was almost painful at some points.

While I think both are great at their gigs, ESPN was really left with no choice. BUT it blew me AWAY to learn they had been together for over 20 years... pretty amazing in this day and age.

I think Morgan lands on his fit with possibly MLB Network and apparently ESPN is still planning on using Miller.

Anyone shocked by this?

I'm confused. How could Jon Miller and Joe Morgan on ESPN fight during the World Series broadcasts when the World Series was on Fox which had Joe Buck and Tim McCarver doing the p-by-p.

Morgan is definitely out, but Miller was supposedly asked to stay, on radio only. Both of their contracts were up after the Series. Rumor is that Dan Shulman and Orel Hersheiser will be the new Sunday Night Baseball announcers on TV.

With the Giants now the World Champs, I wonder if Miller will just stick with them, and forget ESPN.

it was painful listening to Miller and Morgan both not be unbiased toward the Giants in the series. Besides Morgan will be the Reds manager soon replacing Dusty
