Joe Nolan returns to Radio

He's been doing afternoon drive @ ESPN 98.7 on the Michael Kay Show

yep, but he's hardly on that though. you could listen to it for an hour without a single report. As I did one night sitting in an hour of 287 traffic wondering what was going on ;o).. if he's on the new station more frequently, I'll switch for updates only. I could care less about sports talk.

also, didn't joe say he was tired of doing mornings? The plot thickens...

Also reading comments on PLJ's page, i find it interesting that Imus (a show I've never listened too) apparently attacked Jeff McKay with the same comments listeners have been saying, only on air.....that it sounds like he's yelling at us over the mic. must be more interesting for him over at WABC...wonder if he's just as bad over there ;o)

I'm not sure you are aware, but they said on the air today the show you're discussing was a best of Imus show, so this must have been said before. As an Imus listener, everyone knows the I-man only rips you when he likes you, so one would surmise that Imus is OK with Mr. McKay.

I must agree with the other comment, that Mr. Nolan did say he was tired of doing mornings. Since he is now back on the radio doing mornings, one could surmise that he was bounced from WPLJ. And, considering I heard him say that alternate side parking rules were in effect in New York City today when they were in fact suspended as Mr. McKay and others said, the theory that Mr. Nolan was bounced from WPLJ could potentially have merit.

ahh, gotcha on the first :)....

on the second: usually he corrects himself pretty fast if he is wrong. what time is joe usually on over on 102? is he on all day, or just in the morning? As for the bouncing.. The rumor I first heard last june, either here, or online somewhere, was that cumulus wanted to go in house to save money..and the shows where wondering if they could keep their long running traffic people despite the chance over. we found out on 1/1/13
