Another thread addressed this. Huggy had left for family reasons (father is very ill and new kid on the way), he does have another day job, someone said it was with Bank of America? Joe is still doing the show, he even a had another co-host already.
I know when they started Joe and Huggy were not paying for the time. That may have changed but I doubt it. Doesn't Joe still work as a highly paid Massport Parking Lot Attendant at Logan?
Joe and Huggy is indeed a paid show. That changed several months ago. I'm not sure about the others, but I know they had to pay for their airtime. But, considering the fat guy makes six figures as a hack, he can afford it.
Talk about vanity. I can see paying for a program if it benefits your business or you have a stable of sponsors who wanted to be on your show but the few times I listened to Joe and Huggy I didn't hear any unique advertisers who wern't already on the staion.
Does Mel Robbins buy her time as well. She does voice a great number of spots for someone who is only on once a week.
