Joe Sciacca & Ellen O'Brien?

Just tuned in for a couple minutes; not bad. Maybe RKO will do Felon & Feinburg and then have Joe'n'Ellen
on afterwards from henceforth...

Joe said that Wednesday would be the last day he would be filling in for (not so)Feinburg.

I like Ellen O'Brien's positions - her voice is grating and over the top for radio.

Sciacca is a pro, I just don't agree with him. For example, Steve Bailey has an excellent Globe column today on Murdoch/Wall Street Journal. Sciacca was in disagreement with it - failed to articulate a good position, actually, but it was somewhat interesting.

Sciacca sounds good. He sounds better alone.

Ellen needs some time in the incubator.

Fiendburg is outclassed by both of them.

Hi Annie.

I didn't hear them today; heard the handoff yesterday - all four of them in the room - Finneran, Feinburg, O'Brien, and Sciacca. If I hadn't had to go to work I would have tuned in.

I like Ellen and am glad that they continue to give her a shot. She's funny and brings a perspective that I don't find anywhere else on RKO and rarely on commercial talk. So, Ellen, if you're reading this - you go girl!

Joe's great, but I find that point of view already on the radio.

At the beginning of the week they said they would be cycling O'Brien, Sciacca, Burns, and maybe even Nelson through this week.

Valv which female voices do you like on radio? I like hers a lot. I don't care what you say they are funny together. I listened yesterday and heard they were coming back today but I missed start of show. I wasn't sure I'd catch it at all so I was looking for some other morning listeners here. I did hear Murdoch conversation later in morning and I thought Joe did make his point although I agreed with Ellen who agreed with Bailey.

Finn, we've been here before. I'm fans of both Joe and Ellen and guys in my weekend office like her voice so I'm with you. I've already done full disclosure in that I worked at a TV studio where they both have done some work at different times. Tomorrow I'm going to see how Finneran and Feinburg are doing. Just curious.

Sometimes people will call me 'shotgun' and I don't mind. No worries, I won't address you again.

Meanwhile the question was a genuine and curious one. It was intended to be read without a sarcastic slant. Try it again with an optimistic tone. Like this: Whose women voices do you like? (In Boston on air right now) I wanted your opinion. It's true that, just as you say, "obviously" I hadn't read your posts on this topic. Obviously I wouldn't have asked.

I owe you an apology for writing this: "I don't care what you say I think they are funny" It was offhand and I wasnt' truly trying to discount what anyone has to say. I was using it the way people might in conversation. Don't worry I won't address you again.

Meanwhile cool topic. Anyone else. I like Robin Young's also. New post perhaps.
