Joe Vig WMWM podcast

So THAT's what has been keeping Joe busy and out of trouble!

Great progress.....hope it continues.

actually, Les, I wasn't posting on the board much because:

a)my computer is on the fritz; the computer shop lent me this laptop at the end of Lent

b)was in NY with Donna Halper (not together) at the IBS convention

c)promptly went to Atlanta

d)visited Doug this past Sunday

Everyone is invited to the surprise Birthday Party of Doug's girlfriend Linda who was born on the
same day as Harry Truman and yours truly ...so drop in on May 6th for the WMWM Birthday Party for Linda

Salem State College radio, 130 watts...went on air in '68 as WSSC 640 carrier current...to FM in 1976
and to current power around '78...

The best radio station in Salem! (...the only one...actually licensed to Salem but with studios and
xmtr there too, unlike WESX...)

Let me get this straight........ Vig Criticizes WATD and others then puts up dead air on the web podcast!?

Pretty funny JacobR, that I was just sitting in with Doug calling me "co-host" - there's no dead air while i'm actually in control, for about 5 minutes when doug, bless his heart, was out of the studio.

Where do I crititicize WATD? It's WBCN and RKO that I criticize...sheesh, you can't even get my slams correct.

Trax of the Town is a lovable and often chaotic show - that's part of its charm. I don't tolerate too much chaos, which is why you hear me get back to music as soon as humanly possible. Under the conditions I dare anyone to try and do better.

If anything, yours truly saved the day when the dead air occurred - but I was waiting for some loon to criticize without having been there.

Typical radio board joker

p.s. sonic al, it is Yoko Ono's SILENCE. As I haven't heard the air check, Raccoon, did you run the blank cassette space which did NOT go out over the air - can't tell ya till i hear it...or was it Doug's phone call...

Regardless - thanks for posting it - Troll & Tennie & the recording studio all tuned in. Well, I'm off to IGGY POP
at THE oRPHEUM tonight. GO SOX

it doesn't matter, Bob, I appreciate your efforts. Those in the peanut gallery making comments are at least listening! :) :) :)

Peter Cahill of WMWM's Juke Joint said he went to that show. btw the Juke Joint (w/ Peter) was slightly late today due to
an access card issue so Mr. Computer (Doug took the day off) played some lovely rock music for the first
25 minutes...
