It's such a shame. As I've noted on a previous post, you can be in a Star Trek room or any other page talking about gardening. There are jerks who will come out and mess it up for everyone because they have nothing else to do. My days are jam packed with work - and no, it is not done out of my basement. I happen to have a huge basement with a ton of storage stuff (airchecks, magazines, books, vinyl), and pay more for additional storage monthly than most people pay for a new car. So if you want to listen to the Swifties, fine. If you take 'em with a grain of salt, that's fine too. My apologies go out to the real radio people who want to talk about radio. I remember when a Boston radio consultant came onboard with a LOT to offer and people didn't like an opinion and accused her of being me. That was probably the banned one. Whatever, it was a great loss for the board as she hasn't seem to have posted in about a year. What a pity.
My site's under renovation; we're building a brand new site that will be up next week - separate from Varulven; and it won't be posted here. Keep in mind, one program director from 20 years ago threatened me when I wouldn't pay him off. He's carried the grudge and defamed me for 2 decades. I've only published what his ex advertising people and ex-jocks have called me and reported to me. Right from the horse's mouth.
He couldn't sue me because as John H. Garabedian said to me at The Channel "It's all true". Everyone in town knows the corruption that occurred at WBCN, everyone. Now you are seeing an out-of-work ex program director exacting his revenge on the one guy in this town who stood up to him.
Too bad The Globe & The Herald didn't have the stones to expose him, but he used to have long tentacles and now he's about as important as yesterday's trojan wrapper.
No one else seems as fascinated with me as those grudge holders. My apologies to people who have to read all this b.s. John Kerry reported for duty but Joe Vig is actually the one fighting off the swifties.
There was a very legitimate reason that one individual was banned and his actions were the direct result of a hateful message Oedipus told him to post. It was below the belt, it was hideous, and any person with that kind of hate in him as the banned one, deserves a lot more than banning. My lawyer is still trying to see if that person has any assets but it appears he is judgment proof and not worthy of a suit. He would love the attention anyway. Oedipus - on the other hand - deserves to be taken to task for the 25 promo copies per add sold to retail in violation of FCC law; let alone what John Messina told many people he had to pay Oedi for one spin of the song "Rocking With The Best". Now you know why we have "Smoke" and other people begging to bring cruelty back to this board. The Moderator's sensitivity to what happened IS appreciated.
By the way, I do have a secret weapon: TONS of Oedipus air checks, including the one Oedipus authorized me to send to Harry Nelson at WRKO. If you really want to have a laugh, Oedipus makes stuttering John look like an amateur stutterer. Oedi keeps up the hate crusade, we'll post some of his more choice moments. I have HOURS of programming from the good old days when we were civil to each other, not about to be involved in a Civil Action.
