JoeFM vs. Froggy...

I heard a rumor that JoeFM and Froggy are doing live remotes at the same time, on the same day from the Grange Fair...I wonder if they are setting up right next to each other...should be interesting.
 
They probably will. For the one country concert over here in Pittsburgh, can't remember which one, that was held either at Heinz Field or PNC park, Froggy 98.3 and competitor WDSY-Y108 were beside each other doing remotes.
 
Froggy was told to move to the other end of the fair after they were blasting their programming during WBLF's morning show. Looked like they were going to do the same to Joe FM during their broadcast, so the organizers gave 'em what for and told them to move.

Way to impress people in high places, Froggy! Keep reaching for that brass ring!

Seriously, what does this type of tactic prove? It's the big bad bully picking on the smaller kid in the schoolyard type of mentality. Competition or not, I think it's a pretty piss-poor move on Forever's part.

Regardless of the ratings, Froggy must still have some sort of fear towards Joe FM. Let's see if Joe returns the favor tomorrow during Forever Broadcasting Day at the fair, or if they simply take the high ground and not stoop to their level. I'm banking on the latter as opposed to the former.

Fryman, where's you wagon? I'll be out there this weekend! Always lookin' for a tasty bite to eat during fair week!
 
Sandman is right...I talked to the JoeFM air talent (Some pretty blonde girl, I might add...) and she said that Froggy was told to move it to the other end of the grounds.

That was a pretty pathetic stunt that Froggy pulled, considering it was JoeFM / Magnum day at the fair.

Saturday is Forever Broadcasting day. Yay...whoopee! That's the only day I won't be there...

BTW - My station is there everyday...(it's not a radio station, though.)

Fryman, I'm gonna look you up, too!
