I remember very well. I was in 6th grade at the time and lunchtime conversation often included something that Joey had said on the radio the night before.

Joey and the rest of the guys at WKBW sparked my interest in radio at a very early age. I lived about 2 miles from the transmitter on Big Tree Road. KB came in on everything!

My, aren't we being a little harsh? We may actually have a youngster here who's interested in radio history, and more specifically Buffalo radio history.

Maybe he missed this thread.
 
No it's not a kid. He's on a bunch of other threads with his "rembere" going back to the 1960's
