Joey's Birthday

According to his Facebook profile, Joey Reynolds is celebrating his 60th Birthday on July 7th. Hmmm...that means he was how old...about 15 when he was doing nights at KB. And just think, he'd already worked at a few stations and been Larry King's intern in Miami before that.

Happy Birthday, Joey!

I love Joey.....I think he is great.......but 60 (again)......I dont think so......I remember the first time I met him when I was in high school.....................................Maybe he is............65-67

Perhaps the 60th reference on his Facebook Profile is really his number of years in radio?! LOL ;)

"I belive Joey is 69."

That sounds about right since he's the exact contemporary of his old South Buffalo childhood pal Dan Neaverth. who IIRC was born late in 1939.

Joey, such a tummler! How can you not love the man. Don't y'all know 60 is the new 40?! (There, a board "first," yiddish and and southern redneck within three sentences. Now gimme my American Tourister luggage from Spiegel, Chicago, Illinois 6-0-6-0-9.)

I love the man and relate to his sense of humor. Listening to him carry on has always been fun. Glad he's still on the air after all these years. He looks at life and always finds the funny!

I'll bet he was a real headache for PD's to manage.

Happy birthday Joey, however old you are!

You might be right with 69, but I'm not convinced. When I worked at WWOL in 1957 with Frank Ward (Guy King) & Freddie Klestine, Joey used to hang around the station. I was 20 then and Joey was at least 5 years younger. I'd go with 65-67.

I was another of the WWOL groupies in 1957. Joe Pinto (aka) Joey Reynolds was in his mid teens at that point. Which would make him about 68-69. I'm 66 (and feeling every year of it)
