John and Ken podcasts now only available on iHeartRadio app!

It's official: "The only way to get our podcasts now is through the iHeartRadio App. We apologize for any inconvenience!" https://twitter.com/johnandkenshow/status/868198475598413824
I assume they're going to do this with all KFI shows? Damn iHeartMedia. I already have a podcatcher app. The iHeartRadio app has gotten really annoying lately in pestering you to sign up for "iHeartRadio Plus". (I once tapped to get rid of a popup for it and accidentally hit the subscribe link. Cancel, cancel!) They even replaced the app's exit button in the side menu with a big "UPGRADE NOW" button, so now in order to quit the app you have to go into "Settings" (where they also have an "UPGRADE NOW" button in case you didn't notice the first one). Just awful.

Thank you for pointing that out! There's no way to exit from the damn iHeart Android app - it stays live in the background and often starts playing for no reason. My wife and I were in a restaurant recently when this happened.

I only use the app now when absolutely necessary and, after each use, I go into "Settings" and hit "Force Stop." What a PITA.

Agree. The IHeart app has become more difficult to use. By having to use IHeart to listen to John and Ken podcast they are trying to get more listeners to use the app. Desperate attempt to save a failing business
