Somebody needs to tell this guy the Obama Administration isn't going to take guns away from United States citizens. For the last several days, his entire show has focused on Americans loosing our Second Amendment rights. I don't believe that will ever happen, however many people in my neighborhood are buying into this fear, and buying guns at a rapid pace. Everyone needs to relax. Some callers to Wells show believed the tragedy in CT was planned by the Obama Administration to institute more gun control laws. Some callers like to call President Obama a Fascist and Some call him a Communist. I'm not sure who to believe. I feel bad for President Obama, and I know I wouldn't want his job at any price. Everyone take a few minutes to decompress.

The guy is paranoid beyond belief. But, talk radio is fake so he is probably just faking like everyone else.

in all my years of radio listening/critiquing and broadcasting, i am a pretty fair judge of who is, and who aint a ratings gimmick fake and/or a real bonafied genuine character. wells is 100% the real deal! hats off to george noory and all them great staff who made the decision to hire wells for on air talk duty. many of the topics discussed below re: guns, are worthy of deep analysis via a 4 hour radio talk show. all sides are presented and opposing sides are always welcome to air their opinions. when listeners take the time to hear each viewpoint and fact, they may find themselves advancing from their media social engineered 5 gallon micro fish bowl world to a macro ocean world of real facts, about why these vital constitutional laws were set up by our USA founders!

yep, and we applaud mr wells for giving some exposure to several minutes of gillian welch singing "tear my stillhouse down". we also forgive mr wells for miss pronouncing her correct name. thats gillian, not jillian! but, we salute him for exposing some good Americanafied acoustic/harmony country music, since all the centralized programming power brokers consider that stuff as "off the radar". hey, a listener even called in and asked about that song, and artist. if she peaks your musical interest? check out her song "way back when" for some stellar country/folk/pop harmony stuff!boombox said:

Mike Siegel who took over after Bell's first retirement was probably the worst. This guy, formerly a mainstream talk show host, suddenly became a fan of and a believer in everything paranormal! George Noory sounds like he's phoning it in most of the time. George Knapp, who seems better suited to the pace of TV, sounds stiff as a board on the radio.

Savage (speaking of gimmicks?) always said the gun topic was a show killer, maybe it is different now. Art Bell would advertise GOA as an "in your face pro-gun group" back 10 years ago. Since Bell broadcast across from a brothel, I think the libertarian element exists in the show, drugs, guns, gambling, etc.

C2C has become more Alex Jones Lite, sometimes he's a guest on Noory's show but George has also taken Alex to task for his rantings in public. John B Wells is cozier to Jones and his shows are trending Infowars-like as well and wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't make a break on his own if Noory continues on C2C. The format expansion is there, C2C, Clyde Lewis and his Ground Zero radio, and another end times talker. Fear sells. The advertisers are there too for hawkers of gold and 25 year food supplies. Jones is too controversial to go beyond 1000 watt stations and the Internet but has a respectable audience world-wide.
FreddyE1977, you are correct the left-wingers did blame President George W. Bush for a bunch of crap. I am a big sports fan and kinda like C2C. I can only take so much of ESPN and Fox sports radio. I just wish hosts like John B. Wells and guests like Alex Jones wouldn't turn many events in the United States into a conspiracy theory.
