The Bordes family appears to have run a radio group well, in a way that most "family owned" businesses don't.

From Boston.com--BORDES, John M. 67, of Sachem Road, Tiverton, RI died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008 at noon of a sudden cardiac arrest, while jogging. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Flanagan) Bordes. Born in Bridgeport, CT, he was a son of the late Anthony and Mary Alice (Mason) Bordes. John graduated from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. John was the Chairman of the Board of Greater Media, Inc. in Braintree, MA. An accomplished sailor, he was a member of the Tiverton Yacht Club and the Corinthians. He was a supporter of the Tiverton Land Trust and was actively involved in numerous professional organizations and charities. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Cormac A. Bordes and his wife Audrey A. Bordes of Westford, MA; two grandsons, William John and Paul Anthony Bordes; and a large extended family. He was the brother of the late Mary Anne Sabo and Peter Bordes. His Memorial Service will be on Saturday, October 11, at 11 AM in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 55 Main St., Wickford, RI. A Reception will follow in the Parish Hall. His Burial, with Military Honors will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O.
